Product DescriptionTranscutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is a non-invasive, drugfree method of controlling pain. TENS Units use tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves to modify your pain perception. In most patients it is effective in reducing or eliminating the pain, allowing for a return to normal activity.
In many patients, the reduction or elimination of pain lasts longer than the actual period of stimulation (sometimes as much as three to four times longer). In others, pain is modified while stimulation actually occurs.
The LG-3000 TENS Unit are used to control chronic and acute pain including Rheumatoid and Osteo-arthritis, Back pain, Menstrual Pain, Labour Pain, Peripheral Nerve Injuries, Shingles, Headache and Migraine, Cancer Pain, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Phantom Limb Pain, Sports Injuries, Sciatica, Aching Joints, Post Operative Pain, Muscular Pain, Whiplash and Neck Injury and many other painful conditions.
It is simple and easy to use. Four Electrode Pads are placed near or around the areas in pain. Because it is Dual Channel, you can use 2 or all 4 Electrode Pads at the same time. You control the pulse width, pulse rate, and intensity and in just 20 minutes per day you will experience dramatic pain relief!

Works as good as the other brands we've had but this one seems intent on eating up batteries quicker than we can buy them.

Summary : Everyone should have one of these
My mom got one after an injury and I tried it on my lower back - it was like magic. I keep it handy now for after long days at the computer. I even use it while I sit at my desk. One caution - don't overdo it - I cranked it up to high the first day on my upper back and it made it worse - my fault - not the unit. Works best on deep muscle tension and pain, especially lower back and hips. I even use it sometimes while walking on my treadmill to keep my hips and thighs from hurting. Anyone on pain meds for an injury needs to try this to at least reduce the amount of meds, and maybe even get off completely depending on source of pain.

I purchased this Unit for my daughter for Christmas. I have a "Rhythm Touch" unit that I paid $250 for at the Orange County Fair a couple years ago which my daughter has used quite often. She says this new LG-3000 is excellent for the price paid. She says its not quite as easy to operate and doesn't have the automatic feature (a repeating cycle of tapping, vibrating and massaging) which mine has. But it does everything else and she is very happy with it and has recommended it to her cousin in Florida. If mine ever quits working, this LG-3000 is the one I would hope to purchase.
