Product DescriptionTranscutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is a non-invasive, drugfree method of controlling pain. TENS Units use tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves to modify your pain perception. In most patients it is effective in reducing or eliminating the pain, allowing for a return to normal activity.
In many patients, the reduction or elimination of pain lasts longer than the actual period of stimulation (sometimes as much as three to four times longer). In others, pain is modified while stimulation actually occurs.

It is simple and easy to use. Four Electrode Pads are placed near or around the areas in pain. Because it is Dual Channel, you can use 2 or all 4 Electrode Pads at the same time. Summary : Good for the money!
The unit certainly works. I haven't used a lot of those, so I can't say how it rates against other, more expensive, models. But it does the job. To me it looks like I have made a right decision to by this unit.

Works as good as the other brands we've had but this one seems intent on eating up batteries quicker than we can buy them.

Summary : Everyone should have one of these
My mom got one after an injury and I tried it on my lower back - it was like magic. I keep it handy now for after long days at the computer. I even use it while I sit at my desk. One caution - don't overdo it - I cranked it up to high the first day on my upper back and it made it worse - my fault - not the unit. Works best on deep muscle tension and pain, especially lower back and hips. I even use it sometimes while walking on my treadmill to keep my hips and thighs from hurting. Anyone on pain meds for an injury needs to try this to at least reduce the amount of meds, and maybe even get off completely depending on source of pain.

Summary : A very good Shock!
Portable TENS units work great on sore stiff muscles. It relieves pain and tension in neck and back muscles.
